Environment-Recycling

Historic disposal patterns have contributed to needless waste of plastic. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimated in 2006 that plastic made up over 10 percent of municipal solid waste that year.

The production of plastics is not without pollution and other environmental risks, but many uses of plastic help conserve energy and reduce pollution. Issues like the lifecycle cost of a product in energy, materials consumed and pollution generated increasingly are taken into account when businesses, policy makers and consumers consider the environmental impact of plastics and other raw materials.

Marandex has established an environmental policy and recycling goals:

  • Managing, forecasting and evaluating our impact on the environment based on production activities.

  • We will strive to continually improve by establishing recycling objectives and targets.

  • Effectively observe and strive to comply with all Federal, State and Local environmental regulations and requirements as well as other requirements to which our company subscribes.

  • Thoroughly consider conservation of natural resources in order to protect the environment, in which we live and work.
